Excellent, clean gym with awesome staff! The front desk is always warm and friendly. Managers are on hand to ensure that you have an amazing experience everytime you go. Brick Bodies Rotunda is located near Johns Hopkins University and the Hampden neighborhood of Baltimore. There are also two locations in Baltimore County in Reisterstown and Timonium. Brick Bodies has amazing group classes for high-intensity training, as well as wellness-oriented yoga and barre classes. Keep in mind that the Baltimore location does not have a lap pool, but does provide all other standard workout equipment and facilities.
One of the most affordable gym options in Baltimore, Crunch is located off of Boston Street in The Shops at Canton Crossing. You can do your own thing or join any number of classes to improve your strength and drop some pounds. The space is very open and clean. A truly no-fuss facility with everything you need and nothing you don't.
In 2004, CEO Nate Costa started a small personal training studio/salon & spa in Hunt Valley. Due to the quality of Costa's training and the success of his business, Kevin Plank of Under Armour chose to feature FX Studios at the global headquarters' Tide Point on-campus gym in 2009. In 2016, FX Studios and Under Armour teamed up again to put a gym in the historic Bank of America (formerly Baltimore Trust) building at 10 Light Street. This is perhaps one of the most unique workout experiences where modern facilities meet the a cool 1930s architectural aesthetic. This is a must-see!
For a therapeutic and less pumped-up environment, the MAC in Harbor East offers a truly mindful experience. The lap pool here is kept warmer for maximum comfort and ease. Classes are focused on wellness and a healthy lifestyle rather than extreme toning. The MAC is one of the few Wellbridge Clubs nationwide, and offers comprehensive plans for overall longevity and fitness.
