Baltimore City Dog Parks
Patterson
This is a wonderful dog park in a safe and convenient location right on S. Linwood Avenue in Patterson Park. The dog park has sections for small and large dogs, astroturf, with pools/baths, dog bowls, and water taps nearby. Additionally, there are several benches where you can sit and rest. There is usually a pleasant and respectful atmosphere among owners. Our dogs always have a blast here! Patterson Park itself is a huge park where you can get a lengthy walk in with your dog on a leash. Click here for map
Canton
Located on Toone Street and Clinton Street, thisgated spot for off-leash activities provides a separate area for small pets, shade, and clean-up bags. My dogs and I love this dog park! We love and live in the neighborhood of Canton, where it's located. Our house is five blocks away, and we walk there a few times a week. The dogs are friendly, as are the people! It's best to take your dog without rain to avoid getting it really dirty. In case of running out of doggy bags, people always donate grocery bags. Lastly, they have two sides that separate big dogs from small ones, which is smart! Click here for map
Latrobe
Located off of the Andre Street side of Latrobe Park in Locust Point, this dog park is one open space for all dogs. There are special times reserved for older and small dogs. There is a very fun large fallen tree truck if your dog loves climbing. This park is convenient for people who live in Federal Hill and Riverside. Click here for map
Howard's
Even if you live farther away from the bigger city parks, there are many downtown spots to keep your pooch happy and well-exercised. Howard's dog park is located off of Howard Street, Druid Hill Avenue, and W. Centre Street in the Mt. Vernon neighborhood. You can easily grab a coffee at Ceremony Coffee before you go. It's a great place to meet other dogs and humans! Click here for map
Bark Social
Bark Social is a more exclusive, upscale place that serves food and alcohol. It's located in the same shopping centre as Sprouts Farmers Market off of Boston Street. You pay for a membership to bring your dog, and then have access to a nicely-maintained area. People who do not have a dog do not have to pay for a membership. It's a great place to socialize and meet other dog-lovers while enjoying a quick bite and satisfying beverage. This one is easy to get to if you live in Canton or Brewer's Hill. Click here for map
